I guess everyone wonder how many types of nasi kerabu there are.
Am I right?
Actually there's more than one type of nasi kerabu in Malaysia which are nasi kerabu biru, nasi kerabu kuning and nasi kerabu tumis. What is the difference between all those three types of nasi kerabu? Those three types of nasi kerabu have the same taste except for the colour is different. Kembang Telang flower is used to make nasi kerabu biru while for nasi kerabu kuning, turmeric powder is used to make the rice turn to yellow color and for nasi kerabu tumis, there's no additional color added because it only a plain rice with
tumis. It is so easy to differentiate these three types of nasi kerabu because of its color.
